Measuring more than three metres tall and cast in glowing golden bronze, Ancient Feelings is Price’s first major public sculpture in Australia, and an invitation to reflect on the universal emotions and experiences that connect us all. This commanding new work asks us to consider who is typically depicted by statues, and why some stories are valued over others, continuing Price’s engagement with ideas of power and representation in public space.
